GGL - Gemspact Gemological Laboratory
- is a gemological laboratory established for the certification of precious and semi-precious stones sold by Gemspact, Prague. The laboratory determines the type of mineral and its physical and chemical properties. The certificate contains the results of the gemological examination performed using the prescribed methods and technical equipment. GGL is not a commercial enterprise and does not issue certificates for minerals belonging to third parties.
EXAMPLE OF A CERTIFICATE:
The certificate confirms that the information regarding the certified mineral is correct and corresponds to the description of the mineral being sold. The certificate is supplied with the mineral being sold. The certificate and the box containing the mineral are protected by holographic security features. The mineral is delivered in a transparent box consisting of two parts, sealed with holographic tape bearing the certificate's serial number. Once the box is opened, the hologram is obscured. The certificate is not transferable to another mineral.
